We lift Costa Rica in Prayer
The recent new report
tells us that there are at least 2500 people in critical condition as a result
of yesterday's earth quake.
I call upon our spiritual community to lift
up our brothers and sisters in prayer.
I think today's Daily Word says
it well...
God is the answer to my prayers, and all is
well.
Praying for myself and for others, I tap into the mighty power
of God. Creating a sacred space with faith and an expectation of our highest
good, I call forth a response within me that is the activity of Spirit.
Perhaps I have relatives who are traveling a long distance. In my
heart, I hold a vision of them, divinely protected. Giving thanks in advance, I
know that all circumstances of their travel are falling gracefully into place.
I may know someone who is looking for employment. In prayer, I envision
new opportunities for them, and the ways to fulfill them being revealed. With
career pursuits in divine order, all is well.
Praying with surety and
faith in our eternal connection with God and with one another brings all into
alignment with the answer to prayer, which is always our highest good.
The Red Cross
The Red
Cross is one organization that is administering aid. They are calling for
Can Goods, Grains, Powerded Milk, Cleaning Supplies and money, (not
clothing).
You can take
these items to your nearest Red Cross or bring them to Unity and we will pass
them along.

MEDITATION PRACTICE
Please join
us each Sunday after lunch from 1-2:30pm for satsang, silent meditation, &
sharing. We want this to be an ongoing activity that all can enjoy whenever they
feel the need to reconnect more deeply with Spirit. The group will be led by
SuZen Caring, with monthly talks by Swami John. All are welcome!

Caring has been deeply involved in ongoing spiritual practice for the last 32
years, & for a period of years, meditated formally from 4-6 hours per day.
She now sees Life itself as an ongoing meditation, whereby Awareness rests
within Silence. No matter what activity is going on in the outer world, it is
possible to be peacefully engaged without conflict or stress. She considers it a
service & a delight to assist others in achieving this inner Peace.

SEA INSIDE"
with Renate
Herberger
Through
movement work, breath & chants, Indigenous practices like purification with
sage, creative dance, Eco dance therapy, danced meditations &
African-Caribbean dance traditions, I lead people into a felt experience of
their body, the bodies of others in motion, & the body of the earth &
sea.
I use music from around the world, primarily African-based as well
as music from the sea, to help induce relaxed & energized states of
mind.
We work sometimes alone, sometimes in pairs, & sometimes in a
circle, as well as other formations. No workshop is fixed, because I work with
the interests & energies of the participants present, & adapt my work to
the needs of each group.
ABOUT RENATE:
Swimming the length of the Pacific coast of Costa Rica is akin to the migrations
that we usually associate with marine life such as humpback whales. By placing
myself in this environment, I will become one with their world & will be
able to experience the interconnectedness of ocean life. I hope my 3 month long
swim will be an inspiration to you & will foster the view that the sea is
not to be feared, polluted & exploited, but defended, protected &
celebrated.
